Accessibility
Last updated: February 2026.
Accessibility is a design constraint here rather than an afterthought. This page records what that meant in practice.
Provisions made
- Keyboard navigation throughout, and full content without JavaScript.
- Skip link to main content; visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Semantic heading order and ARIA landmarks for navigation, main and footer.
- Text and background contrast at WCAG 2.2 AA or better.
- Reflow at 320 pixels; 200% zoom without content loss.
- Decorative SVG hidden from assistive technology; no colour-only meaning.
- Restrained animation, fully suppressed under prefers-reduced-motion.
Conformance
We consider this site substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, on the basis of our own testing rather than an external audit. Self-assessment has obvious limits, so please tell us if you find something wrong.
Telling us
Something unusable, or content you need in a different format? Write to [email protected] or ring 07933 880637, naming the page and the difficulty. We aim to respond within five working days.
Escalating
The Equality Act 2010 is enforced by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. If our answer is unsatisfactory, you can take it up with the Equality Advisory and Support Service at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
